It’s A Sara Thing!

Today in the mail I got the cutest Papper Pumpkin Kit. I can’t wait to share it. I got to see it at Onstage and bumped my order up so that I would have a few to offer for a stamping session.

The kit makes 12 cards and features my favorite thing – watercoloring!!

I have three kits to offer up – first come. You can even split a kit with a friend and each get 6 adorable handmade cards!  The kits can be made at any of my stamping classes (in case you want to customize you words with anything I have) or can be done at home.

Leave a comment if you want one!  I’ll be offering stamping sessions again about the middle of May – after testing is over.

My ‘Day’ Job and the Weekend

Just a note to let everyone know what is going on.  Currently my ‘day’ job is taking up all my time and energy.  For those of you that don’t know – I am a Testing Coordinator for a local High School.  Last week I oversaw over 2,000 English End of Course Exams.  In the first 2 weeks of May I will oversee 2,500 End of Course Exams and another 1,250 AP Exams.  So for the next few weeks I will be concentrating on how to make this happen while still allowing other students to go to class.

The Good News is – I am going to OnStage this weekend in Shreveport La!  I can’t wait!!!!  I get to see the new catalog and play with new stamps and products.  I am even taking 60 cards to swap with other demonstrators.  When I get back I will have lots to share!

I promise I will return!!

Birthday Card Buffet

What Cards to you always need? Birthday Cards!! February 25th from 9 till 3 I am having a Birthday Card Buffet.
What is a Card Buffet? It is where you get to pick what cards you make and how many of them. Just like a Buffet! Make a few or make dozens – it’s up to you! Cost is $2.00 per card and includes the envelope.
This Buffet has 6 different card designs. Card Names are with the pictures below.
Two of card designs can be done in the color of your choice – The Gate Fold Card and the Happy Happy Card. If you want to make those cards I will not prep anything for you until you come and pick the colors.
Interested in coming? Message me or text me with the type(s) and number(s) of cards you want to make. I’ll see you on Saturday.

Lift Me Up

This spring’s Occasion’s Catalog has a wonderfully versatile stamp and die set called Lift Me Up on page 10.  I will admit that I instantly knew that I was going to get this set.  The possibilities are endless – Birthdays, Valentines, Mother’s AND Father’s Day – even Baby cards!  So of course it was on my Pre-order.  But then I got it and froze.  I could see the possibilities but could not see where to start.  Then I saw a Sampler – very similar to the one pictured above – and I could not help but create it.  (In the Stamping world we call it CASEing – Copy And Share Everything.)  The credit for this idea goes to Julie Davison – you can see more of her amazing work at .  Her combination of the stamp set with the coordinating DSP in the Sale-A-Bration catalog was great.  I made the first one as a Birthday gift for a friend and then created this one to hang in my stamping space.  I also created a matching card:image

This Card will be a part of my Birthday Card Buffet scheduled for February 25th.  Can’t wait to see what else I can make with this set.
